Our Missionary Staff facilitates all of our programming during the school year. From Confirmation Retreats to Environmental Education, they do it all. They come from all around the country, and they're very excited to live out the ministry of The Pines this year. Check them out below.

Aly Korabik

Hiya! My name is Aly Korabik and I am still in shock that I get to spend the next nine months as a missionary at the Pines! I graduated from the University of Missouri in May 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Health Science and will be attending physical therapy school August 2020. Once I get started, I cannot stop talking about films, particularly black and white films from the 1930s to the 1950s. I am also a big reader, which I now have time to do again thanks to graduating from college! I love exploring music of the indie/alternative genre along with the big influencers of today's music like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Talking Heads. I am so excited for this year to teach me how to love better and stronger just as Jesus taught us through serving the youth that comes through the camp gates!

Kathryn Wallisch

Hi! My name is Kathryn and I'm from the great state of Indiana, where I spent most of my life with my three siblings and cat. I graduated in May 2019 from Indiana University Bloomington with a degree in Informatics, along with minors in Mathematics and Italian. I spent much of my time in college camping, paddling, rock climbing, running, cycling, and teaching science and robotics at a children's science museum. The more time I spent outside, the more I felt called to share my love of God's creation, and that led me to the woods of East Texas! I'm very excited to become a part of the mission here at The Pines and I cannot wait to encounter the retreatants coming our way.

Howdy! My name is Maxmillian Potts and I hail from the great plains of Kansas City Missouri. In May 2018 I graduated from Benedictine College with a bachelor's degree in History and minor in philosophy. A couple of my favorite things are reading (anything from The Hunger Games to Catcher in the Rye to Thomas Aquinas' Commentary on the Posterior Analytics), Juggling, and being out in nature everyday! I have come to Missionary Staff to continue looking for Jesus and to continue being found by Him in the work of His Church. I am so excited to give this year to the next generations of Catholics!

Kayla Fletcher.png

Kayla Fletcher

Hey y'all! My name is Kayla Fletcher and I am so excited to be able to work at the best camp in all the land! I'm from the small town of Ponchatoula, Louisiana where we are most known for our sweet strawberries! During my time attending Southeastern Louisiana University, I was heavily active in my parish's youth group which is where I found my passion for sharing the love of Christ! After serving my time here at the Pines this summer, I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for me this coming year! Some of my favorite things to do are watching any and all Disney and Marvel movies, walking the trails of this gorgeous camp, or writing upon a new story!

Hi! My name is Rachel and I am beyond excited to be serving a second year as a missionary at the Pines! I have encountered the Lord in such a powerful way in these piney woods of East Texas, and I am so grateful for this opportunity to share the joy of the Lord with those who come to camp. I am from the beautiful state of Michigan and I have 5 siblings, one of them being my twin sister who is the greatest gift in my life. I went to Ave Maria University where I studied Psychology and Theology. If I am not serving on retreats, you can find me playing piano, blasting music on country roads, walking in the woods or chilling at cozy coffee shops. My love for Christ is the center of everything I do, and I am excited to share my faith and walk with others in their relationship with Lord. Here’s to another year of growth and transformation!

Rebeca Rodriguez

Hello! I’m Rebeca Rodriguez, I grew up in Spring, Tx which is just north of Houston. In August of 2019, I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with my B.S. in forestry, with a focus on recreation. I enjoy spending my free time outdoors with friends, I like crocheting, and I love swimming. I am so excited to be working at The Pines this year on Missionary Staff because God has shown me the beauty of this ministry. I fully believe that what we do is helping build the kingdom of God, and I am so grateful that I get to play a part in that. Let me know if you ever want to talk about God, trees, or cows, those are my favorite conversation topics.

Rebecca Brennan

Hello! My name is Rebecca Brennan. I am from the Sunflower state, aka Kansas (yes, I’ve heard all the Wizard of Oz jokes). In December 2018, I graduated from Benedictine College with a major in Theology and a minor in Philosophy. I enjoy reading, especially Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia. Growing up, going to a Catholic summer camp ignited my faith and got me to where I am today. Since then I have been on fire for mission and helping others to encounter God! Working at The Pines is honestly my dream job and I can’t imagine being anywhere else!

Victoria Hebert.png

Victoria Hebert

Hey y’all! My name is Victoria Hebert and I claim all of South Louisiana as home. I graduated from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in May 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I am an outspoken ENFJ who loves Disney almost as much as I love Jesus. The Lord has taken me on many adventures such as performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, working at Walt Disney World, and that time I visited six different states over a three-month span. I am blessed to have a sister who is the Elsa to my Anna, three nephews and a niece who I love like my own children, and cousins who are more like siblings. I can’t wait to see what the Holy Spirit has in store for me at The Pines. I think I’m gonna like it here!
